Analytical Trilogy

"We can be happy only by accepting the goodness that comes to us from outside and linking ourselves to it."
Norberto R. Keppe

FAQ's

Q. How is Analytical Trilogy different from traditional types of psychotherapies?

A. The underlying principle of Analytical Trilogy (AT) maintains that, unlike other psychotherapies, no matter how ill or psychologically unbalanced a human being may be, he remains healthy in his essence. Illness does not exist in, and of itself - it is a result of denying one's true reality and the reality of life. Again, unlike most therapies, AT maintains that we are not the victims of our problems and difficulties, we are the creator of them. Consequently, we have the means to reconnect with our true inner self and to live from a foundation of truth, beauty and goodness rather than through our pathology, which creates anguish and suffering.

Q. How is Analytical Trilogy able to help people who have emotional problems?

A. The patient is brought to deeply reflect on his own behaviour and discover the truth behind his pathology. This is done through the Dialectic Technique of Interiorization, which uses facts, situations and problems in the person's external reality as a mirror to understand more clearly the feelings, thoughts and actions in his inner self and his life in general. In other words, this highly effective technique elicits unedited responses from the patient which reveals his inner-most thoughts and feelings. In this way, the inner thoughts and feelings are flushed out and brought to the patient's awareness - and conscientized. When the problem is conscientized, we become aware of what is really going on inside of us and the steps that need to be taken to deal with the issue that is causing anguish and distress.

Q. I have a lot of problems and challenges with my family, co-workers and people in general. How could Analytical Trilogy help me deal with this?

A. Here are three possibilities which will help you get to the root of this problem. You would be made aware, through the Dialectic Technique of Interiorization, (please see Answer 2 above), of your own pathology. When you have a clear understanding of this, you are much more easily able to deal with troubling situations in the external world. We would also look at the possibility that you may be 'idealizing' (an attitude of seeing those around you as more perfect than is really true) - and this in itself causes tension and anxiety. We would help you to see the possibility that you may be 'projecting' your own thoughts, feelings and attitudes onto others in an attempt to avoid the consciousness of your own problems and difficulties. All of these psychotherapeutic processes would help you to become conscious of your own problems and difficulties which you may have only seen in others. At this point, the cure begins as you make the appropriate adjustments in your own thoughts, attitudes and behaviors.

Q. Can Analytical Trilogy help children with emotional problems?

A. Yes, children are extremely responsive to Analytical Trilogy. AT Analysts have helped many children who developed pathological behaviors and attitudes at a young age. Initially, we conduct an intensive interview with the parents and we generally suggest that at least one parent enter analysis at the same time as their child. When a parent becomes aware of their own problems and difficulties, they are more readily able to help their child.

Q. I find living in today's world more and more stressful, complex and dangerous. I think I have a lot of fear about life now. Could Analytical Trilogy help me?

A. Absolutely. Through the AT Therapeutic Model, you would quickly become aware of your own attitudes, behaviors and actions which keep you in a state of anxiety and anguish. Stress, anxiety and fear also arise when an individual seeks the purpose of his life and self in the material world. Psychological balance and equilibrium are a result of connection with one's inner self. The more this connection is known and strengthened, through the Therapeutic Model of AT, the stronger you will become and the more able you are to deal with the external world in a realistic and healthy way.
