"We
do not have to create faith, we only have to accept it, because it
is the fundamental reason for existence. And faith is so fundamental
that when we reject it, we lose all our brilliance and become like
unlit lamps."
— Norberto R. Keppe
About Analytical Trilogy
Analytical Trilogy is a unique therapeutic
methodology that studies the cause and treatment of psychopathology
in individuals and society. Analytical Trilogy was developed by
Dr. Norberto Keppe, a world-renowned psychoanalyst, following his
initial training in Vienna and after more than 30 years of clinical
research in Europe, the United States and Brazil. It is called "trilogy"
because it synthesizes psychotherapeutic science with the contributions
of the great philosophical and spiritual thinkers -- unifying feeling,
thought and action.
While Analytical Trilogy has roots
in traditional schools of psychotherapy, Keppe believes we are not
ruled by subconscious psychological impulses nor are we victims
of our upbringing or biochemistry. To the contrary, we are blessed
with a vast consciousness, an
awesome potential for deep awareness. But we hide our true selves,
living instead from pathological thoughts, attitudes and behaviors
which cause anguish and suffering.
We erroneously believe that what
we don't know can't hurt us. Deep down, most people think they are
not responsible for the feelings they ignore. But this attempt to
stifle awareness is precisely what causes anxiety and depression
and ultimately makes us sick.
From Keppe's point of view, no matter
how troubled a person may be, he still has the potential to regain
his sanity. Our sanity (or lack of it)
is determined by the degree to which we deny, omit or distort our
inner wholeness. To become aware of the unconscious
pathological attitudes and behaviors which undermine and sabotage
our lives, we must reconnect with our inner selves -- the part of
us that is mostly hidden from perception. Analytical Trilogy accomplishes
this through the Dialectic Technique of
Interiorization.
The more we become aware of the ways
we unconsciously hurt ourselves, the more psychologically balanced
we become and the more we can accomplish, the more confidence we
will gain and the better we can function, enjoying a healthy, successful
life.
The International Society of Analytical
Trilogy (ISAT) is based in S‹o Paulo, Brazil. There, Dr. Keppe,
president of the Society, heads the largest private psychotherapy
clinic in Latin America, where he trains psychoanalysts who treat
patients worldwide.
Keppe is also the creator of The
Psycholinguistic Method of language learning, offered exclusively
at the Millenium Language Schools in S‹o Paulo. More than 6,000
students have benefited from this method, which helps students rapidly
gain fluency by overcoming the psychological blockages associated
with learning.
His most recent book "The
Origin of Illness." is now available in English.
